Its About time...

Wow, its been a long time. Where has the time gone? My last post was in August right after Landon turned 3. And here it is hes almost 4. Laine turned one in March. He is quite the little ham. He loves food, following Landon around, and of course being outside. He is starting to say more, he says mom, dad, elk, hot, uh-ohh, monkey, hi and im sure other things, I havent figured out yet. We sure do wish sping would stop teasing us and stick around. So we could be outside more. We have started working on our garden. This is our 1st garden EVER! We also just built Landon and Laine a sandbox. We cant seem to get pull Landon and his monster trucks away from it.

Uncle Justin stayed with us for most of the winter while he worked for Tim and Kristi. We sure do miss having him around. He was a big help with the boys! And my Wii bowling partner! Justin is now in Great Falls working for A.T. Clemmons and will apprentice for plumbing or heating after so long of him working there.

Shawn and my Mom celebrated their birthday together this year at our house. They share April 5th for their bday. I made pasties and chocolate cake for them! It was a very nice day! Next year Shawn will be 30, and mom will be 50....SHHH dont tell. Im sure mom will not appreciate me putting that on here! :)

Landon and Shawn working hard to get the sandbox spot all dug out! Shawn has been staying the our camper up at his job sight for 4 days at a time. Then he comes home and we put him back to work. He is working out side of Lewistown past Forest Grove. We sure do miss him while he is gone. He is such a hard worker, and we are so thankfull for what he does for us.

Landon riding a pony at the circus in Billings. We went with some friends of ours and their two little boys.

Not only does Laine love to play in the dirt, he loves to eat it too. He for sure is all boy. He is totally content just sitting in a pile of dirt with a car pushing it back and forth saying, vroom vroom. Funny how little boys pick that up so fast!
We are truely blessed to have such wonderful healthy little boys. We hope spring comes back soon and every one has a wonderful and safe summer! God Bless~

Summer updates....

Wow, its hard to believe that summer is already over... We went to Zoo Montana with my parents, didnt get to see a lot of animals, but it was nice spending the weekend with mom and dad. And Shawn got to go to Cabelas. We went to the Lewistown fair almost every day I think, and Landon loved the rides. Landon turned 3 on the 8th of Aug. I can't believe my baby is 3. He will be starting preschool in two weeks. Laine turned 5 months of the 20th of Aug. He is smiling all the time and rolling over every chance he gets. He is eating rice cereal and fruit. He is an awesome eater. He also has been sleeping thru the night for about 2 months.
Landon had his 1st ER visit. He was running around the house, (not Landon) and tripped over his dad's feet and smashed his forhead right into my chair. As we all know head wounds bleed BAD! After getting the bleeding stopped and getting mom and Landon calmed down. And calling Shawn's parents and EMT Uncle Tim we decided he needed to get stitched up. So off to Harlo we went. It took a small army to hold Landon down while they stitched him up. But then he was good to go. He was pretty proud of his 4 stitches...

4th of July

Sorry it has been so long, as most of you know I have had quite the summer so far. I had my appendix out and over ten cysts on my ovaries removed. Didnt heal up quite like I wanted. I got a blood clot under my incision that was about the size of a tennis ball and hard as a rock. I had to get sliced open again, while i was awake... and have it removed. I now have an open wound that has to heal from the inside out. So it has to be packed twice a day. It has been 4 wks since my surgery and im starting to feel better. Praise God!
So anywho, we spent our 4th of July at Fairmont Hot Springs. It was a family reunion on Shawn's mom side of the family. It was nice to get away, but I still didnt feel real great and couldnt swim or do anything. Landon had a ball swimming. He went down the big slide with daddy. And he was swimming on his own with his little life suit. We went to the parade in Butte on Saturday. It was so nice to see Shawn's Dad and family. It was the first time they had seen Laine. They sure enjoyed the boys.

Family Pics

We went to Great Falls Saturday and had our pictures taken at Sears. They always seem to do a nice job. It was a bit of a challenge to get both the boys looking at the same time and happy at the same time. Laine will be 3 months old this friday. He is growing like a weed, and doing so good! Landon is still busy as ever, and would be outside every hour of the day if he could!

this and that...

Just a few pictures of the boys. Landon and Laine are both getting good use out of our new swing set!! When its nice out and the wind isnt blowing I take Laine out and he seems to like it. Laine will be 11 weeks tomorrow, almost 3 months, very hard to believe. And Mr. Landon has had more ear infections so we are going back to our ear nose and throat doctor next friday. Im pretty sure tubes are our next step...

Nice Spring Day....

Yesterday was one of our few nice spring days. Shawn just got moved to a new job right outside of Judith Gap on the Faber Ranch. So the boys and I took him lunch yetsterday and had a little picnic with him. It was so nice up there, no wind, very peacfull. You can see for miles up there where he is cutting. Landon had so much fun running around and watching daddy run his machine. And Mr. Laine just slept most the time!
Shawn's little brother John has two 4-H pigs. Landon loves to go see them and run around in the pen with them. Its pretty funny watching them play together.

Swing set, Elk shed, and growing boys...

Laine is 2 months old today. I can't believe how the time flies. We got Landon a very early birthday present, and got him a swing set. We thought it would be nice for him to have it now, if it ever gets nice. My mom and dad came over for Mother's Day. We have a bbq, and dad and Shawn put together the swing set.
Shawn found an awesome elk shed the other day. He found it in the mountains by Lavina where he was working. Landon thought that was pretty cool that daddy brought home some big elk horns.
